On Thursday I went to my geetar class but found the school completely empty. Apparently, all music classes for that day had been cancelled due to heavy rain, which they said was going to freeze. The only other person in the building was a rad janitor named Vin, and we sat down and talked about all kinds of jolly things until my mom arrived. We thought this whole idea of the rain freezing causing the class to be cancelled was bullwash. Unfortunately, by the time we woke up on Friday morning, every visible thing outside of the window was covered in ice, and we had no electricity or heat. Pine branches were down everywhere, on the roads and power lines. I got on my bike and went around with my camera, because the trees were  beautiful, incased in ice. Unfortunately, there is just about nothing to do in my house with no power, and since it gets dark so early nowadays, it was difficult to get anything done. I got all of my Christmas shopping done, because we went to several stores that did have power. It started to get really cold at home, because we have no working heating in our house. I escaped to the comfort of work (with power) on Saturday morning, and we managed to scrape a phone together.  We only just got power back at 7:16 on Sunday, what a relief.

I just randomly happened across your blog... beautiful pictures! I really love the one with the red berry, and the yellow house. Did you use Photoshop?
